WorkOne and NFI Industries are teaming up for a hiring event next week in South Bend. Twenty full-time positions are available.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – WorkOne and NFI are collaborating to hold a HIRING EVENT seeking 20 full-time, tractor-trailer drivers; the event is slated for Dec. 23rd in South Bend.

What: HIRING EVENT sponsored by WorkOne and NFI.

Who: Open to JOB SEEKERS ONLY (Media coverage NOT ALLOWED for events staged inside WorkOne pursuant to state Department of Workforce Development (DWD) client-privacy policies).

Where: WorkOne Saint Joseph County, 851 South Marietta Street, South Bend, 46601.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Details: The HIRING EVENT seeks to fill positions for 20 full-time, Class A drivers holding CDLs.

EACH HIRED driver will receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. In addition, average weekly pay rate is $1,100 to $1,200. THE POSITIONS include 401K plan with company matching contributions after 90 days.

NFI basic driver qualifications include: minimum age of 23; Class A-CDL from state of residence;

WITH THESE positions, drivers are home daily. And the employer offers immediate health benefits. Furthermore, there is a safety bonus as well as a referral bonus.

SAFE DRIVING record; one-year, verifiable trac-tor-trailer experience to start immediately with NFI; yet, if less experience than one-year, individuals can join NFI's Paid Transition Program.
