The 500 Festival says Indianapolis-based Midwestern Engineers Inc. will be the presenting sponsor of its Breakfast at the Brickyard event. The company specializes in the planning, design and inspection of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Indianapolis, Ind. — The 500 Festival, a nonprofit organization committed to enriching the quality of life for Indiana residents and visitors, today announces that Midwestern Engineers, Inc. will serve as the presenting sponsor of its Breakfast at the Brickyard event. Established in 1959, Midwestern Engineers, Inc. provides engineering and consulting services to local government, public utilities, and the private sector. With offices in Loogootee and Indianapolis, the firm specializes in the planning, design, and inspection of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, building, and other infrastructure projects across the State of Indiana.

“We've been a longtime supporter of the Breakfast at the Brickyard and we're proud to expand our involvement. Our team works with Indiana’s best civic and governmental leaders on a daily basis, we’re excited to help salute the state's mayors at this event,” said Richard Burch, CEO of Midwestern Engineers, Inc. “The 500 Festival’s events and programs enrich the lives of so many of Indiana’s cities and towns, expanding our partnership was a natural fit.”

The 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by Midwestern Engineers, Inc., honors Indiana’s mayors and attracts race fans and civic leaders from all corners of the state. Held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, attendees will enjoy a hearty breakfast and hear from a racing legend. IMS and 500 Festival executives will also provide remarks before the coronation of the 500 Festival Queen. Ticket holders will also have the opportunity to drive their car around the famed oval track and tour the garages before enjoying the afternoon qualifying session for the 2015 Indianapolis 500.

The 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by Midwestern Engineers, Inc. will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 8:30 am and it is open to the public. Tickets to the event will go on sale in 2015. Individual tickets will be available for $60 and corporate and community tables will be available for $750.
