LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. President and Chief Executive Officer Keith Gillenwater is leaving to take the lead role at the Economic Development Group of Wabash County. He will succeed Bill Konyha, who will become director of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. December 12, 2014

LAGRANGE, Ind. – The LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation (LCEDC) announced today that Keith Gillenwater, President/CEO of the LCEDC has resigned after almost six years in the position. Gillenwater started as the first president of the then-newly formed LCEDC in April, 2009.

“We are sad to lose Keith from the LCEDC,” said Mark Leu, Chairman of the Board of the

LCEDC. “We appreciate the six years of leadership that he provided to our organization, and

are proud of the many accomplishments that we achieved together for our LaGrange County

community. We wish him the best as he starts his next endeavor at the EDG of Wabash

County.”

“I appreciate the support I've received over the last six years from the LCEDC board and our

LaGrange County communities,” Gillenwater said. “Its been a great six years helping to build

the LCEDC from the start-up phase into a respected, professional economic development

organization. I’ll miss the many friends I have made and companies that I have worked with, but will look forward to continuing to help LaGrange County make our northeast Indiana region better in my new position as President of the Economic Development Group of Wabash

County.”

The LCEDC will be posting the President/CEO position on the LCEDC website

(www.lagrangecountyedc.com) and various other industry outlets in the coming weeks.
