The 100th and final turbine is now in place at a $400 million wind farm in Randolph County. The Star Press in Muncie reports the Headwaters Wind Farm should be fully operational by the end of the year. The farm, which is owned by Texas-based EDP Renewables North America. It is expected to generate 200 Megawatts of electricity for Indiana Michigan Power.

Work began a year ago and involves the property of more than 200 land owners.

More than half of the turbines have already been turned on.
