A new historical marker has been unveiled to highlight the location of the city of Kokomo's only train depot. The 104-year-old building has undergone renovations as part of downtown revitalization efforts. Business owners with properties around the depot have also pumped millions of dollars into improvements in recent years.

The city acquired the depot earlier this year from Central Railroad Co. of Indianapolis.

The marker was unveiled Thursday during a ceremony that inlcluded officials from the city, the Kokomo Historic Review Board and the Howard County Historical Society.
