News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. The Indiana State Fair Commission and Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company announced today that Indiana Farmers is the naming rights sponsor for the State Fair Coliseum for the next 10 years. Effective immediately, the Coliseum will be known as Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Kim Smith, president and chief executive officer of Indiana Farmers, stated, “The Coliseum

is more than just a building. It represents the common heritage we all share as Hoosiers. It is that same heritage that gave birth to our company more than a century ago, which makes this a natural partnership.

“This is the right opportunity at the right time for Indiana Farmers,” said Smith, “one that provides an exponential opportunity to grow our brand and our business. We're honored to lend our support to the coliseum for the enjoyment of all who come from across the state to use it.”

“We've talked with a lot of companies over the past two years, and I believe we've found the perfect partner,” State Fairgrounds Executive Director Cindy Hoye said. “Not only has Indiana Farmers been around as long as the State Fairgrounds, but both organizations exist for one reason only – to serve Hoosiers.”
