Fifth Third Bank, Greater Indiana has named Teresa Shaffer marketing director. The Indiana State University graduate most recently served as executive director of public relations and corporate communications at Clabber Girl Corp. in Terre Haute.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Fifth Third Bank, Greater Indiana, is proud to announce the hiring of Teresa Shaffer as Marketing Director for the region, serving Indiana and parts of Illinois and Kentucky.

Shaffer, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, will oversee marketing and public relations strategy for the region and will collaborate on all sponsorships and community partnerships. As Marketing Director, Shaffer will join the Senior Leadership Team for region, reporting to Group Affiliate Marketing Director Natalie Guzman and Regional President and CEO Steven Alonso.

Shaffer most recently worked for the Clabber Girl Corporation in Terre Haute, where she served as Executive Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications. While there, she developed, planned and executed the internal and external communications, developed strong community partnerships, launched new products and coordinated trade shows.

A graduate of Indiana State University, Shaffer's background also includes work in advertising and community development. Shaffer also remains heavily involved in her community, serving on a variety of boards related to causes such as the arts, animal welfare, the United Way and economic development.

Shaffer will be based in Indianapolis.
