The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce has announced appointments and re-appointments to its 2015 board of directors. They include multiple business owners and an operations specialist for the Indiana Army National Guard.

Zionsville, Ind. — The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Merlie, Kris Patel, Keith Pemberton, and Doug Rapp to its 2015 Board of Directors.

Tony Merlie is a certified public accountant with over 15 years of financial management and auditing experience. He currently works for Industrial Dielectrics Holdings, Inc., as the company’s International Controller, and he works closely with management and accounting teams located throughout the world, including China, France, the United Kingdom, and Puerto Rico. Previously Tony worked 12 years for BKD, a national public accounting firm, serving clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction and transportation industries.

Tony has been on the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since January 2012, serving two years as the marketing committee chair and serving as treasurer since August 2014.

Kris Patel started Om Wealth Management in 2007, having worked as a financial advisor since 2002. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Public Finance and is a CFA Charterholder. Kris holds a series 6, 7, 26, 63 and 65 securities licenses. As a resident, and future business owner, in Zionsville he wants to help the town become one of the premier residential and business districts in the nation through community service and business development.

Kris is currently Vice-President of the Chamber Board of Directors and was chair of the 2014 Street Dance Committee. He is also actively involved in Emerging Professionals.

Keith Pemberton is the owner of the Pemberton Insurance Group located in Zionsville. Keith previously held roles in software sales and had a 15-year career in project management for the electrical contracting industry. Keith attended school at Missouri State University and has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications. Since his arrival in Indiana, Keith has become heavily involved in the Zionsville community.

Keith is a member of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Zionsville Emerging Professionals, Indianapolis Sports Corp and the Zionsville Lions Club.

Douglas Rapp is a planning and operations specialist for domestic operations and emergency planning for the Joint Forces Headquarters, Indiana Army National Guard. He is the Senior Army Vice President of the Indiana Department of the Reserve Officer Association and consults for elected officials at local, state, and national levels. He has received numerous awards and honors.

Additionally, Doug is the Principle of RAPP LLC, which focuses on residential investment properties and property management in the Fort Wayne area. He is also President of Delta Research LLC, which specializes in Strategic Planning, Contingency Planning, Disaster Response and Security.

Doug has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan. Doug is very engaged in the community through Zionsville Lions Club, American Legion, Freemasons, Chamber of Commerce, and many other organizations.
