STATEHOUSE – Indiana Senate President Pro Tem David Long (R-Fort Wayne) today announced Senate standing committee assignments for the 119th General Assembly.

Committees play an integral role in the legislative process, providing an opportunity for lawmakers to focus on specific areas of public policy and hear important input from members of the public.

“I'm proud to serve in the Senate with so many dedicated public servants on both sides of the aisle,” Long said. “Committees are where much of the heavy lifting is done during the legislative session, and I’m confident these men and women are up to the task.”
