Gary to Reveal Plans For High-Rise
Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson and Merrillville-based Centier Bank Chief Executive Officer Mike Schrage will announce redevelopment plans next week for the 10-story Gary State Bank tower. The building was purchased earlier this year by Gateway Partners LLC of Hobart. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana reported earlier this year plans call for a bank located in the region to move in and put its name on the building. Chase Bank had a presence in the city's second-tallest building until 2008.
