St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital has named Joel Feldman president. He has served as the hospital's chief of surgery and St. Vincent's regional chief medical officer. November 7, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today, St.Vincent officials announced that Joel Feldman, MD has accepted the position of President of St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, a member of St.Vincent Health and St. Louis-based Ascension.

During his time as Regional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for St.Vincent and as Chief of Surgery for St.Vincent Indianapolis, he has worked closely with other Regional CMOs within St.Vincent to collaborate on initiatives to continue to strengthen the statewide health system.

“Dr. Feldman's extensive clinical and administrative leadership background has given him the opportunity to integrate the two areas of expertise with those of the organization,” said Jonathan Nalli, CEO of St.Vincent. “I truly believe that Dr. Feldman is well prepared to lead St.Vincent Indianapolis into the future as we work to continually improve clinical integration, grow our services and put an intensified focus on quality, patient experience and performance.”

A board certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Feldman completed his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

Dr. Feldman is married to Deborah and has two children, Jennifer and Aaron, who works at St.Vincent Sports Performance. He is an avid photographer and enjoys boating and travel.
