Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health has reached a new, multi-year agreement to remain an in-network provider for UnitedHealthcare. The deal also calls on the organizations to develop a cost-effective Medicare Advantage product for 2016.

Fort Wayne, Ind. — UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company (NYSE: UNH), and Parkview Health have agreed to a new multi-year agreement that gives United Healthcare's Commercial and Medicare Advantage Complete Choice members uninterrupted in-network coverage from United Healthcare at each of Parkview's hospitals, physician's offices, walk-in clinics and for all services provided by Parkview throughout northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Parkview and United will also work to develop an innovative and cost effective Medicare Advantage product for 2016.

We apologize for the uncertainty some of our patients have experienced over the last several weeks and we appreciate their continued support and trust they've placed in Parkview as their healthcare provider.”
