Mishawaka Hopes Clinic Lowers Insurance Costs

The South Bend Tribune reports the clinic will open next year in a former fire station. Mayor Dave Wood says the city is talking with other employers to see if they're interested in joining the clinic.
The city proposes spending $1 million from its 2015 budget; however, Controller Rebecca Miller says they could end up saving about $1 million a year.
Activate Healthcare will operate the clinic, which could open as soon as March.
