Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Karla Lawless estimates the 2014 International Barrel Racing Association National Finals Classes in Cloverdale will have a nearly $1.7 million impact. She says the nine-day event has drawn more than 600 horses, their owners and spectators to the community.
Lawless says it will have a “large impact” on the small community, particularly for convenience stores, restaurants, grocery stores, laundry facilities and dump stations.
