Hoosier Airports Expand Flights
Fort Wayne International Airport and Evansville Regional Airport will welcome new flights starting tomorrow. Fort Wayne is adding service to Philadelphia and Charlotte. Evansville will also begin service to Charlotte. October 1, 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority is pleased to welcome the inaugural flights from Fort Wayne International Airport to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT). Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration, with special guests Fort Wayne Mayor Thomas Henry and the Allen County Board of Commissioners, in addition to several other community partners.
Following the ribbon-cutting, members of the media may be escorted onto the airfield ramp for photos/video of the inaugural flight departure under a water cannon salute. Please RSVP if you would like to be escorted onto the ramp.
The inaugural flight to PHL will depart FWA at 1:30 p.m. The inaugural flight to CLT will depart at 3:30 p.m.
