News Release

Grand Rapids, Mich. — Data Strategy, LLC, a leading technology solutions provider, today announced it has signed a letter of intent to merge with Network Storage, Inc. (NSI), another leading technology solutions provider headquartered in Indianapolis.

The transaction, expected to close at the end of September, will result in a combined workforce of nearly 100 full-time employees across six locations, including Grand Rapids, Detroit, Louisville, Cincinnati, and two in Indianapolis.

“We are invested in our clients, our company and our employees, and partnering with NSI makes sense for us as we look to strengthen our regional footprint and expand our capabilities,” said Dana Jacks, Executive Vice President at Data Strategy. “NSI is a seamless fit with our company's culture and commitment to exceptional customer service.”

“Data Strategy is an ideal partner for us,” said Mark Graham, Co-Principal at NSI. “We're aligned in our strong Midwest core values, and our commitment to integrity, quality and value. Our two companies will complement one another well, and we look forward to having the opportunity to share best practices and learn from each other.”

Officials from both companies noted that the merger will strengthen their affiliation with vendor partners, such as EMC?, Cisco, VMware, and HP. The transaction will give both companies improved logistical capabilities and a more robust portfolio of products, services and solutions.

“We'll now be able to go to our current or potential customers and provide solutions that we weren't able to offer before,” said Graham. “This is a positive move because it's 'business as usual' while adding more capabilities, vendor partners and services.”

“We view this step as the first of many growth-focused endeavors,” said Jacks. “Over time, we anticipate additional office expansions and job creation as we continue to solidify our position as a strong, growing player in the Midwest.”
