Fly-in. Chamber Vice President Cam Carter says the event allows the business community to be heard on “critical issues” including the medical device tax, highway funding and proposed Environmental Protection Agency regulations concerning coal-fired power plants. Inside INdiana Business Television Host Gerry Dick moderated a roundtable discussion Wednesday night with lawmakers. Carter believes business issues are not getting easier to address, saying “Washington has kicked every can that it can down the road.” He says the main message the chamber would like to communicate is to “start working together and get things done.”
Today's events include a panel discussion with national and state election experts as well as visits to congressional offices.
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce says it partners with 15,000 members and investors, representing 2.6 million Hoosiers.
