News Release

Princeton, Ind. -- Hiring continues at a steady pace this year at Toyota Indiana, as the company revealed plans to extend full-time production positions to 180 Aerotek team members in the next five months. The first 60 of these positions will be offered in October.

Aerotek provides Toyota Indiana with its variable workforce. Toyota draws from the Aerotek staff to fill its full-time production positions.

"It's a great feeling to know that our team member base is growing," said Bill Dyer, Manager, Workforce Planning and Organizational Development, Toyota Indiana. "Aerotek does a great job in preparing its team members to join our team; we are happy to have them as a partner."

Strong sales demand for Toyota's Indiana-built vehicles is driving the demand for additional staff. These 180 positions come on the heels of a major announcement by Toyota. Just last month, the company announced a new $100 million investment to produce up to 30,000 more Toyota Highlanders, hire 300 more team members and expand its production facilities by 70,000 square feet.

Career Fair

Aerotek will host a career fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Toyota Indiana Visitors Center, located at 4000 S. Tulip Tree Drive in Princeton. No reservations are required.

Starting pay for the Aerotek positions is $15.85 per hour, with a 70-cent shift premium for second shift positions. Contractor benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) are also available. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED to be eligible for hiring.

In addition to Aerotek, suppliers such as Automotive Technology Systems, Enova Premier, KC Transportation, PIC Group, Superior Maintenance Company, Toyota Boshoku Indiana and Vuteq will have representatives at the career fair to recruit potential employees.

Those who are interested in production careers at Toyota but are unable to attend the career fair may apply online at www.aerotekin.com.
