Our partners at Fox 28 report bids on Blackthorn Golf Course are expected to open today and Elbel Park, run by the parks and recreation department, could be next. The city also owns Erskine Park and Studebaker Park golf courses.
Deputy Mayor Mark Neal tells Fox 28 none of the courses are profitable.
The parks board is slated Monday to hear of the city's proposed master plan, which is presented every five years.
