The Fort Wayne City Council has approved tax abatement on an $18 million expansion at the Nestl? USA Dreyer's Ice Cream plant. The funds will be used to update equipment and retain more than 540 employees. You can view the council resolution by clicking here.

The company makes Edy's Grand Ice Cream and frozen snacks at the facility.

Last year, Nestl? cut the ribbon on a $4.5 million expansion, which included the addition of more than 30 jobs.
