The Mindy Project” star and best-selling author Mindy Kaling has joined Indianapolis-based ExactTarget Inc.'s Connections conference lineup. Other speakers at this month's event will include musician will.i.am and author John Green. Kaling currently stars on the FOX comedy series “The Mindy Project.” She also appeared on NBC's “The Office.” Kaling's book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (and Other Concerns) was published in 2011.

Parent company salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff will also deliver a keynote speech at the event.

Connections 2014 runs September 23-25 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
