Saturday night features The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band at 9:30pm. With a reputation for their incendiary live shows well established, The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band plays a brand of Americana and Blues that stands alone – Delta blues and hillbilly fervor combine with musical acuity sharp as razor wire, this trio is a force to be reckoned with. The growl of a good truck engine, the fiercest passion for his country home and family and an uncanny ability to breathe new life into old forms of music give them a pedigree many Americana acts would kill for and an ironclad work ethic keeps them on the road 250 dates a year, playing for the people with hurricane force. Locked in with an audience, the band create their own community and welcome the crowd into it, transporting them away from their troubles to joyous release, the way great musicians have done for centuries. Their new album “Between the Ditches” is out now. It debuted at #1 on the iTunes Blues Album Chart.

The Bavarian Beer Bash is also an event for makers of craft beer. The AHA/BJCP-sanctioned Bavarian Beer Bash Home Brew Competition is open to all home brewers. The competition is restricted to non-commercial home brewed beer. The competition will follow BJCP guidelines for entries of Bavarian styled beers in 2 categories: Northern German Ault Bier and Kolsch. All entries must be received by our shipping location or at a drop location by September 20, 2014. Judging will take place Sunday, September 28th at the Ogle Haus. Winners will be announced on stage Saturday October 4th after the meet and greet. http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/events/bavarian-beer-bash/
