A Utah-based company says it is looking to fill more than 500 openings in Hobart. Telepeformance Americall provides outsourced contact center services. You can view find the new positions by clicking here.

Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report the call center will have about 700 seats for agents, which include full and part-time positions.

Director of Operations Scott Amo says about 90 percent of the work is handling in-bound calls for health care clients or Medicare and Medicaid.

He says employees start at $10 per hour.
