Verizon Wireless has named Lauren Love-Wright president of its Indiana/Michigan/Kentucky Region. Love-Wright previously led the company's retail channel in Illinois and Wisconsin. August 6, 2014

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Verizon Wireless, a technology leader with the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G LTE network, announced the appointment of Lauren Love-Wright as president of its Indiana/Michigan/Kentucky Region.

Love-Wright will be responsible for all sales, marketing, operations, financial performance and customer service in the three states. She previously served as retail director for the company’s Illinois/Wisconsin Region.

“Lauren has a career history of high performance and brings to her new position strong leadership, with experience in directing diverse teams while keeping a sharp focus on the fundamentals of our business,” said Christine Baron, Verizon Wireless Midwest Area president. “Her understanding of the industry and drive to deliver a world-class experience for our customers has prepared her to take the region to even greater success.”

Love-Wright joined Verizon Wireless in 2003 as associate director for strategic sales for its Illinois/Wisconsin Region. For nearly six years she developed and implemented strategies to expand customer base across the health care, utilities, distribution, finance and professional services areas and subsequently was promoted to director for strategic sales in 2009.

In early 2012, she joined Verizon Wireless’ headquarters team as director of connected consumer electronics and personal computing devices, responsible for driving strategy to ensure that Verizon Wireless service was embedded in the leading consumer electronics and portable personal computing devices sold in the U.S.

Love-Wright returned to the Illinois/Wisconsin Region in the fall of last year to help lead its retail channel.

She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology; a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology; and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
