An issue with parts availability has led managers at the General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly plant to cancel multiple shifts. Third shift production last night and first shift production this morning have been called off. In a recorded message to employees, the company says all second shift workers should report today at normal times. The moves excluded skilled trade, material, final process and third shift salaried employees.
