Indianapolis-based Hahn Systems LLC is expanding into Illinois. The construction industry supplier has several locations in Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky and began producing its own line of nails late last year. July 28, 2014

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July. 17, 2014) – Hahn Systems, LLC, a construction and industrial tools supplier, announced today that it has opened a new branch facility at 1061 Kingsland Drive in Batavia Illinois. The new branch will be led by Mike Saulnier, a 20+ year veteran in the Chicago construction supply and fastening industries.

An experienced team of sales, service and delivery staff is joining Mike to service accounts throughout the Chicagoland and Northern Illinois market. The branch will have the capability to service both residential on-site construction and commercial construction accounts along with a strong focus on industrial accounts including pallet, crating and other wood based manufacturers in the region.

“Hahn Systems is excited to be making this investment as part of our strategic growth plan and we look forward to building our presence in Illinois,” said Scott Brown, president of Hahn Systems. We are very pleased to gain the experience that Mike and his team bring and we will be looking to hire additional personnel to keep pace with forecasted revenue increases.

Founded in 1938, Hahn Systems supplies construction and industrial tools, including nails, staples, abrasives, adhesives and fasteners. The company added lines of lumber, dry wall and other masonry supplies to its service offerings through the purchase of Southeastern Supply Company in June 2012. In November 2013, Hahn began manufacturing its own proprietary line of nails for the pallet industry through the purchase of ECS Fasteners (now Fuzion Fasteners).
