Our partners at 21 Alive WPTA-TV report three measures are moving to committee for discussion and further public comment. The ordinances outline changes to existing agreements, which include cutting collective bargaining for city workers that aren't “safety employees” such as police and fire, as well as establishing two “bargaining units” for city workers in the civil and utility sectors.
Votes on the ordinances could come within two weeks.
