LAFAYETTE, INDIANA—In 2013, Oscar Winski Company, welcomed Porter County Iron & Metal to their metal-recycling family, fueling the engine of metal recycling processing and distribution throughout the Midwest. The facility will specialize in the recycling of both ferrous and nonferrous metals, and is located in Hebron, Indiana.
David Bluestein, Oscar Winski’s vice president of metal recycling, is thrilled to add this facility to the robust line-up of the company’s scrap metal recycling services. “Porter County gives us the opportunity to enhance our service capabilities and provide even more value to our customer base in northwest Indiana,” says Bluestein, who believes their close proximity to the steel mills and industry will allow for more impactful growth.
Oscar Winski Metals Recycling is a full-service metal salvage facility that has been an environmental leader in northwest Indiana, processing ferrous and nonferrous scrap materials for sale to production mills and foundries since 1907. Today, Oscar Winski recycles more than 400 million pounds of metal annually.
