News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Fifth Third Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Natalie Guzman to Group Affiliate Marketing Director for the North Region, which includes Indiana.

Since 2010, Guzman has been senior vice president and marketing director at the Central Indiana affiliate, based in Indianapolis. She also directed the affiliate's charitable giving campaigns. She has been with Fifth Third Bank since 2002.

In her new role, Guzman will direct marketing and public relations activities for Fifth Third Bank for the Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, and Chicago affiliates as well as portions of Ohio.

While marketing director for Central Indiana, Guzman was instrumental in coordinating a $5 million gift to the Wishard-Ezkenazi Hospital, the largest gift ever donated by an Indiana financial institution. She also led the creation and implementation of EmpowerU, an online financial empowerment training module that now is available for Fifth Third customers across the entire 12-state footprint of the bank. The Central Indiana affiliate, under her leadership, also piloted SmallBizU, an online learning module for small business owners that since has been implemented company wide.

Guzman, a public relations and marketing graduate from Ball State University, remains active in the community, serving on the local board of the Little Red Door Cancer Agency and the national board for the Mentoring Women's Network Foundation. She has served on the Executive Leadership team for Go Red for Women and the Pass the Torch campaign.

She is a graduate of the local Stanley K. Lacy Leadership series and serves as a mentor for Leadership Indianapolis.

Guzman recently was honored with an Innovation Summit Award from Fifth Third Bank for significant achievement toward the Bank’s core priority of financial empowerment. She also has been honored as one of Indy’s Best and Brightest.

Guzman and her family will continue to reside in Central Indiana.
