Indianapolis-based Renaissance LLC says it will add up to 20 employees over the next ten years. The independent charitable services provider says industry growth and a new online interface developed by the company are leading to the move.

News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Renaissance, the nation's leading independent charitable services provider, has announced plans to expand their workforce. As the company continues exponential growth in their industry, they seek to add up to 20 new full-time employees over the next 10 years. Renaissance provides chartable plan design, implementation and administration services to individual trustees, charitable organizations and financial institutions throughout the country.

The growth of the company is due in large part to an expanded and enriched online donor-reporting interface that was developed as an extension of their proprietary accounting software solution. As charitable organizations and financial institutions look to streamline operations and focus on core initiatives and donor relations, Renaissance fosters that growth by alleviating the pressures of ongoing multi-tiered accounting and tax compliance issues.

“As the nation's leading independent provider of charitable planned gift services, we are excited about hiring and training a central Indiana based workforce in support of our mission to amplify charitable giving in a meaningful and significant manner,” said Ed Thompson, President and CEO of Renaissance. “Furthermore, we are delighted to announce the involvement of the Indiana Economic Development Commission (IEDC) in this initiative. The participation of the IEDC enables us to accelerate enhancements to our Integrated Charitable Gift Services – Center of Excellence platform, and we look forward to exceeding our commitment to growth in central Indiana through this investment.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Renaissance Acquisition Company, LLC up to $180,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.

“Indiana's business climate is gaining momentum, powered by homegrown-Hoosier companies like Renaissance. When they grow, they help expand an environment where job creation and innovation are top of mind,” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “Indiana is working hard to be the ideal home for this growth, supported with a stable, affordable economic environment and a skilled workforce ready to take companies to the next level.”

On April 20 the Indy Star named Renaissance a 2014 Top Workplace for the third time. The company continues to offer best-in-industry benefits, flexible schedules, and a work environment that fosters pride and loyalty, with an average employee tenure of over 10 years.
