Martin University to Host Career Fair
Martin University will hold a career and internship fair Thursday on its Indianapolis campus. Companies including Honda North America Inc. are scheduled to participate.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Martin University will be holding a Career and Internship Fair for Thursday, April 17, on the campus at 2171 Avondale Place. The event will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Fr. Boniface Hardin Gathertorium. It is free and open to the public.
The event's purpose is to expose Martin students and the community to career opportunities at numerous area companies and organizations and to discover internship openings that might be available,” said Martin University President Dr. Eugene White. “We're grateful to the many groups that are involved in this event.”
Groups participating include Allied Barton Security Services, American Income Life, Capital City Family and Educational Services, Family Photo LLC, Harbor Light, Honda, Indiana Civil Rights Commission, Indiana Commission on the Social Status of Black Males, and the Indiana Democratic Party.
Also, Marion County Community Corrections, Marion County Sheriff's Department, Operation Open Up, Plainfield Police Department, Primerica, Res Care, Speedway Police Department
Woodforest Bank, and Youth Villages will be participating.
Martin University is a private, not-for-profit, liberal arts institution founded in 1977 by Rev. Father Boniface Hardin and Sister Jane Schilling. Martin is Indiana’s only Predominately Black Institution (PBI) of higher education. It is steeped in a history of service and open to a diverse population of students from all walks of life.
