BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Jellystone Park at Lake Monroe is pleased to announce the grand opening of the most state-of-the-art water park entertainment on planet Earth, or at least in Bloomington. Our brand new $750,000 Interactive Water play Attraction will entertain the entire family for days and days. Splash into summer during the Waterzone Grand Opening, scheduled for Saturday, May 24th beginning at 10am. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, friends and family are welcome to enjoy music, door prizes, and gallons of fun at one of the four pools!
The new Waterzone is a private and intimate water play structure designed and built by Wizard Works, the premier water park developer in the world. Our exciting new attraction features slippery waterslides, thrilling water blasters, a mile-high geyser, and dozens of cool interactive water gadgets that spray, splash and dump thousands of gallons of refreshing water in an exciting arena. And the fun is sure to satisfy even the most difficult-to-please 12-year old, spotlighted by the Giant Hydro Storm that will soak anyone who dares approach. Dumping an enormous 500-gallon of drenching water from 30-feet above. Our water park will guarantee to please everyone in your family, from the little ones to the pre-teens, teenagers, boys and girls, and even Mom and Dad. Nobody will be left out, we promise. Wizards Works says, “Everyone is an expert in fun!” and they custom-designed this attraction to prove it.
Jellystone Park at Lake Monroe is an award winning family campground situated right next to Lake Monroe. The resort offers full hook-up sites, primitive tent sites, as well as full service cabins. In addition to the Waterzone, the park offers resort like amenities with the feeling of home, including an outdoor swimming pool, kiddie pool, indoor pool, jumping pillow, gem mining, pedal karts, snack bar, mini-golf, hiking trails, arcade, basketball, and an outdoor pavilion, plus daily planned activities with Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear.
