A career fair is set for next week at Indiana University Northwest. The event will include employers in fields including media, retail, banking and education. April 4, 2014

GARY, Ind. – The Office of Alumni Relations at Indiana University Northwest, together with the IU Alumni Association and the Office of Career Services, has planned a season of career-focused events designed to help professionals succeed.

Life after IU: “A Lesson on Business Etiquette and Dress”

Emili Sperling is the Alumni Programs Officer for Student and Recent Graduate Enrichment at Indiana University. An emerging leader who is passionate about empowering Gen Y with tools to ramp up their professional careers, Sperling speaks nationally about the power of Millennials in the workforce. Her presentation will help young professionals impress, guiding them through the elements of etiquette in the most common professional settings. From utensils to handshakes to tipping, you’ll be a polished Hoosier.

Career Services' 13th Annual Career Fair

Employers who are recruiting professionals will be on hand to provide information about their companies, take applications and interview candidates. This is an opportunity to seek internships, part-time or full-time employment. Remember to bring a resume and dress professionally.
