Five business leaders will be inducted into the Northwest Indiana Business & Industry Hall of Fame Friday in Merrillville. Governor Mike Pence will deliver the keynote address at the event. The class of 2014 includes:

O'Merrial Butchee, Ivy Tech Community College

Fred Halpern, Albert's Jewelers

Thomas Katsahnias, Inland Steel

Jim McGill, McGill Manufacturing

Adela Ortega, Professional Locomotive Services

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville.
