Indianapolis-based TinderBox Inc. has secured a $3 million venture capital investment. The sales management software provider says the funding round is led by Allos Ventures, which has offices in Carmel and Cincinnati. March 26, 2014

News Release

(INDIANAPOLIS – March 26, 2014) – TinderBox, the leading provider of sales workflow automation, today announces that it has raised $3 million in additional funding, the first venture-backed round for the company. The round was led by new investor, Allos Ventures, a Midwest-based early-stage venture capital firm, and included participation from Hyde Park Venture Partners and existing investors. TinderBox will use the funding, the company’s Series C round, to continue to scale the company’s business to better serve its customers, including product development and additional sales and marketing support.

“Since we started four years ago, the TinderBox solution has been used by our customers to automate, integrate, and streamline their sales content, proposal, and presentation processes,” said Dustin Sapp, CEO and co-founder of TinderBox. “By further developing the TinderBox platform for data driven sales documents in the cloud and continuing our focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, we can ensure our customers achieve their sales growth goals more cost effectively.”

TinderBox users can create and collaborate on sales content, track real-time prospect activity, and refine key messaging for faster customer acquisition. The TinderBox solution integrates with existing sales resources such as CRM, content management, and e-signature solutions to provide brand consistency and sales efficiency for long-term revenue growth. Companies of all sizes utilize the TinderBox software including ExactTarget, Angie’s List, and Dominion.

“TinderBox’s continued growth is a testament to the company’s leadership and technology, as well as the opportunities in the space,” said Don Aquilano, managing director of Allos Ventures. “Many businesses, regardless of size, have yet to find a way to produce highly engaging sales content with an efficient process. TinderBox provides that connection for its customers with smart sales content and productivity gains that go with it.”
