An Indiana entrepreneur, who was born in France and went through the dot-com bubble burst in Silicon Valley, is leading an emerging content management firm that is landing some big name customers. Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker is co-founder of Fishers-based Six Feet Up Inc., which has Harvard University, Amtrak and the United Nations on its client roster. She touched on her vision for the company's future on Inside INdiana Business Television as part of our focus on women entrepreneurs throughout the state. Hendryx-Parker admits the company has been fortunate, but credits hard work, word of mouth and technology advancements as key factors in the firm's success.

She says the company tries to maintain an even balace of male and female employees. She says it creates a “unique dynamic” and allows Six Feet Up to “utilize the advantages” of each gender.

Hendryx-Parker was born in France and moved to San Francisco for a tech company internship. After the tech bubble burst, she started a web hosting company with her husband. After helping a friend put a project portfolio online, they turned to content management.

Six Feet Up provides services ranging from content management to customized web applications. The company is based at Launch Fishers in Hamilton County.
