The company is a division of Michigan-based Guardian Industries Corp. and also has operations in Auburn and Evansville.

LIGONIER, Ind. – Two job fairs will be conducted this month and next to fill 50 production positions at Guardian Automotive Products Inc. in Ligonier.
The positions start at $12.50 an hour and there is an opportunity for incremental increases in the first year to $14.50.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or the equivalent and three years of manufacturing experience. Among the skills being sought: ability to work in a fast-paced environment; problem solve; communicate effectively; and have a strong work ethic.
“Guardian is people,” said Kathy Davis, human resources manager. “We like to bring people in and make them part of the family.”
The first job fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon March 22 at the Ligonier plant, 860 W. U.S. 6. The second fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon April 5 at the WorkOne Northeast office in Kendallville at 524 Fairview Blvd. Applicants should bring resumes and dress appropriately.
Guardian Automotive Products, a division of the global Guardian Industries, manufactures windshields for the automotive industry.
