Farmland Sells For Millions

Subscribe NowWabash-based Halderman Farm Management Service Inc. says two farmland properties in Indiana sold last week for a total of more than $6 million. The auctions involved land in Rush and Howard counties. The 460-acre property in Rush County sold last week for more than $4.6 million and the 156 acres near Kokomo went for nearly $1.6 million.
The company is scheduled to hold several more auctions in Union, Wayne and Newton counties this week.
Other sales in Huntington, Allen, Benton and Elkhart counties last month also drew more than $1 million.
