News Release

Bluffton, IN – V-Tech Engineering Inc., headquartered in Bluffton, Indiana, is adding more manufacturing space to accommodate recent business growth and the company’s plans for further expansion, company executives announced. The new site is located on State Road 124 in Adams County.

The new facility began operation on March 1st and expands V-Tech’s manufacturing space by 125%. “The success of our tunnel ovens, spiral conveyors, and conveying systems we manufacture have fueled the need for a larger and more efficient manufacturing space” stated Bo Alstoft, President of V-Tech Engineering Inc. “Our commitment to continue and expand equipment manufacturing in NE Indiana is clear”. The new facility will be dedicated to tunnel oven manufacturing and final assembly point for all equipment manufactured.

The 21,000 square foot facility will be equipped with all new sheet metal forming and fabrication equipment. The company plans to add more robotics for sheet metal handling and welding processes. New fabricating equipment and robotics are being installed over the next few weeks. The jobs created will be primarily for skilled programmers, press brake operators and assemblers.

Larry Macklin, Adams County Economic Director said, “We are grateful to welcome V- Tech to Adams County. We look forward to serving their needs as they grow their business in both Adams and Wells Counties.” Macklin added, “It's a great day when we can work together helping those who provide jobs for our families. “

“Our entire region benefits from the growth of V-Tech,” Wells County Economic Development Director Tim Ehlerding stated, “our community wins with this exciting expansion!”
