Pennsylvania-based Beyond.com Inc. is planning to add workers at its Midwest headquarters in Indianapolis. The online career networking company expects to potentially hire around 50 sales and marketing employees by the end of the year. March 3, 2014

News Release

KING OF PRUSSIA, Penn. – Beyond.com, The Career Network focused on helping people grow and succeed professionally, today announced that due to impressive growth in their Indianapolis sales office in 2013 the company plans to expand operations in that region, adding more jobs and office space.

Beyond.com is headquartered in Pennsylvania and in 2011 sought to increase its national reach to a growing customer base. The company saw tremendous value in Indianapolis, citing its central location and rich technology recruitment potential. Since that time, the Indianapolis office has grown steadily – from an initial 10 employees to the current roster of 50, with plans to potentially double that size by the end of 2014. An additional 7,500 square feet of office space was recently acquired to keep pace with this rapid expansion.

“Our decision to open an office in Indianapolis has been validated over the past three years by our steady growth,” said Mark Anderson, Vice President of Employer Sales at Beyond.com and Managing Director of Beyond's Indianapolis Office. “Indianapolis has proven to be a great market for recruiting strong sales talent, and the level of experience and professionalism we have been able to bring into our office has played a significant role in our success.”

The positions at the Indianapolis office are primarily in sales and focused on recruitment marketing solutions, a sector that has thrived in a region home to several leading digital marketing and recruitment advertising companies. By having a location in this area of the country, Beyond.com is able to better serve the interests of the 40 million people who rely on the network to find employment and manage their careers.

The expansion of the Indianapolis office is reflective of overall company growth in 2013. In addition to services like career counseling and free resume critiques, last year the company also patented social recruiting technology and released a proprietary tool called “Career Portfolio” that transforms a traditional resume into a dynamic infographic that better illustrates a candidate’s professional strengths.
