INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indy Fuel today announced that season ticket deposits for the new professional hockey franchise are approaching 750, and that for the first time those interested in season tickets for the team's inaugural 2014-2015 campaign will be able to view the seating layout and pricing details for the Fuel's 'home ice' – the newly-renovated Fairgrounds Coliseum. The Coliseum seating chart and section-by-section pricing information are available at www.IndyFuelHockey.com.
Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to watch the Fuel play its first 36 home games at the newly-renovated Fairgrounds Coliseum at an affordable price for the whole family – starting at just over $11 a game.
A color-coded seating chart follows this release: Bronze level season tickets are priced at just $399, Silver section tickets are $549, Gold seating tickets are listed at $699, Platinum section seats are $849 and Club seating for the season is $1149.
“As we get closer to ushering in a new era of pro hockey at the new Fairgrounds Coliseum, I'm proud that we offer a way for everyone to be a part of the first season of Fuel hockey,” said Sean Hallett, President of the Fuel. “We have affordable options that give the family a great night out with an awesome view of the ice, as well as opportunities to get even closer to the action and ways for corporate partners to get involved too.”
The Fuel is holding an open house at the Coliseum the afternoon of Saturday, April 12, to showcase the $63 million Coliseum renovation and give season ticket-holders the chance to get an up-close look at seating options and stake out the specific spot to watch the return of pro hockey to Indianapolis. Fans who made deposits before January 1, 2014, will have first pick of seats according to a random lottery process. Those who made deposits after New Year's will select seats after the lottery group on a first-come basis. The team also announced today that the seat-selection promotion will extend through April 1st – anyone making a season ticket deposit before that date will be invited to the open house to make their seating preference.
“Because the Coliseum is still under construction, the fans who've committed to our first 750 season tickets did so without much information about seating or prices,” said Hallett. “That's one reason we decided to give our first wave of fans the opportunity to get a preview of the new Coliseum and pick their specific seats.”
Hallett expects deposits to increase significantly with additional seating and pricing details available.
“There's really not a bad seat in the house,” he noted. “When fans see the layout and how affordable tickets really are, we think they’ll make the leap. We just encourage them to do so in the next month, so they can join us on April 12th to stake out their seat and be a part of Indianapolis hockey and Coliseum history.”
Hallett added that details for other multi-game packages will be released as more information about the upcoming season schedule becomes available, for those fans who aren't able to commit to a full season ticket. “We'll provide a way for all of our fans to get in on the action,” he promised.
Fans have been able to keep up with Indy Fuel announcements at various events around Indianapolis. The organization will continue to host ‘Follow the Fuel’ events leading up to the start of the 2014-15 season.
“We are seeing a growing enthusiasm from our fans at the 'Follow the Fuel' events,” finished Hallet. “With this much excitement already, it is evident that fans are ready for the inaugural season of the Indy Fuel. It is bound to be a great year on the ice.”
