Bluelock Hires Former ExactTarget VP

Indianapolis-based Bluelock LLC has made a key addition to its executive team and announced 2014 hiring plans. The virtual data center company has named Joe Kuntz executive vice president of sales. He is a former vice president of sales at ExactTarget. Bluelock also says it could hire up to 25 workers this year. February 26, 2014

Indianapolis, Ind. – February 26, 2014 – Bluelock, a certified VMware vCloud Datacenter provider of Virtual Datacenters hosted in the public cloud, today announces the addition of Joe Kuntz as Executive Vice President of Sales (EVP Sales).

Having spent six years in a several key positions at ExactTarget, Kuntz will bring leadership and a cultural philosophy that integrates well with Bluelock’s organizational goals and keen vision of its next phase of high growth. As the executive leader of the sales and marketing functions, Kuntz will be responsible for developing and driving the revenue generation strategy forward.

Kuntz was Vice President of North American Sales at ExactTarget, now a Salesforce.com company. He had been with ExactTarget since 2008 in several positions, each of increasing responsibility. Prior to ExactTarget, Kuntz served as President of the Baker Hill Corporation during the period it was an Experian Company and Vice President Sales for the several years previously.

Joe’s onboarding is just one of many Bluelock is targeting for 2014 in order to support their successful, rapidly growing business initiatives. Bluelock estimates they will grow headcount by nearly 50 percent in 2014 and are currently actively filling several open positions, while always keeping an eye out for new talent.
