A central Indiana venue is on an international list of The 10 Most Beautiful Cemeteries, Funeral Homes and Crematories. Flanner and Buchanan's Washington Park East Funeral Center in Indianapolis is among a group that includes locations in England, France and Chile. The 10 properties were selected by funeral care industry consulting firm, funeralOne LLC.

The Michigan-based company chose the central Indiana center for its multiple uses. It can host funerals, weddings, parties and meetings.

The top 10 are:

1. Highgate Cemetery – London, United Kingdom

2. Horan & McConaty Funeral Home – Denver, Colorado

3. Pere-Lachaise Cemetery – Paris, France

4. Borders Crematorium – Melrose, Scotland

5. Lone Fir Cemetery – Portland, Oregon

6. Hodges Funeral Home – North Naples, Florida

7. Punta Arenas Cemetery – Punta Arenas, Chile

8. Frank E. Campbell – The Funeral Chapel

9. Community Life Center – Indianapolis, Indiana

10. Forest Lawn Memorial Park – Glendale, California
