The Carmel Chamber of Commerce has named Ron Hanson chair for 2014. He is a co-owner of Hamilton County-based Hanson & Snyder Personal Financial Advisors. February 3, 2014

News Release

CARMEL, Ind. – Ron Hanson, Hanson & Snyder Personal Financial Advisors in Carmel, has been elected Chair of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce for 2014.

Hanson is a graduate of The American College with his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation and also holds the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) and Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations. Along with serving as board chair for the Chamber, he is on the governing body of Indiana Discovery Network for Dementia. He has been active in the community and was awarded the “Quality of Life Award” by the Million Dollar Round Table for outstanding community service and the “Board Leadership Award” by the Child Welfare League of America for his many years of service at Lutheran Child and Family Services of Indiana and Kentucky.

Joining Hanson on the executive committee are 2014 officers Jo Biggers, MISO, Chair Elect; Mike Vall, Firestone Diversified Products, Treasurer; and Melissa Averitt, Pedcor Companies, Secretary.

New 2014 board members are Michael Drewry, Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP; Michael Garvey, Lauth Group, Inc.; Michael Kile, AlphaGraphics of Carmel; and Lauren Taylor, Holder Mattress Company, Inc.
