A unit of Dallas-based Trinity Industries Inc. (NYSE: TRN) has acquired an Indiana industrial gas tank and semi-trailer manufacturer. Alloy Custom Products Inc. is based near Lafayette. The company was founded in 1992 in the Carroll County community of Flora. It moved to Reynolds in White County in 1994 and to the location near Lafayette in 1998. January 31, 2014
DALLAS --- Trinity Industries, Inc. (NYSE:TRN) today announced that its subsidiary has acquired the assets of Alloy Custom Products, Inc. (“Alloy”). Alloy is based near Lafayette, Indiana and manufactures and repairs cryogenic transportation products including cryogenic tanks and semi-trailers that store and transport LNG and other industrial gases. Initial annual revenues are expected to be in the range of approximately $25 to $30 million.
