Indiana Sports Corp Senior Vice President for Strategy and Operations Susan Baughman says that includes observing how fans travel throughout New York and New Jersey and deciding which events should be open to the public. She tells Inside INdiana Business the group hopes to “raise the bar” on the 2012 event in Indianapolis. Indiana Sports Corp is the lead organization in the Indianapolis bid process.
The delegation heading to this weekend's events will consist of the 2018 Super Bowl Bid Committee board officers.
The first draft of the bid is due to the NFL in April. League staff members will provide feedback on the draft before the final proposal is due in May.
The winner will be chosen during the three-day NFL Spring Owners Meeting that begins May 19.
