Fort Wayne, Ind. — After hosting over 20 national conventions and sporting events in 2013, Fort Wayne will host another full slate of groups in 2014, many of them coming to the city for the very first time.
This year, Fort Wayne will welcome the 2014 Indiana Republican State Convention, along with the 2014 Midwest Bicycle Tandem Rally and 2014 State Wars Roller Hockey Tournament. These three groups alone will bring in over 16,500 new visitors into our community.
Listed below are new groups and other notable events to expect in Fort Wayne this year.
Indiana Boys State Hockey Finals – March 8-9, Lutheran Health SportsCenter
Indiana GOP Convention – June 6-7, Grand Wayne Convention Center
Midwest Lacrosse Championships – June 16-17, Hefner Fields
Indiana Society of Association Executives Convention – July 22-24, Grand Wayne Center
State Wars Roller Hockey Tournament – July 30- August 10, Lutheran Health SportsCenter
Midwest Tandem Bicycle Rally – August 29 – September 1, Grand Wayne Convention Center

In total, Fort Wayne is expected host more than 100 conventions and sporting events in 2014, generating more than $32 million dollars in direct economic impact.
