News Release
Indianapolis, Ind. — EdPower, a non-profit organization that provides educational services, including charter school management, turnaround school services, education consulting, and more, announced this week that it has officially changed its name to Tindley Accelerated Schools effective immediately.
EdPower launched in 2002 and is dedicated to expanding quality college-preparatory educational services for young people and helping Indianapolis schools excel – so their students can as well.
“We believe that every child deserves the opportunity for a high-quality education. Tindley Accelerated Schools exists to provide that opportunity. Through excellent charter schools, administrative leadership, teacher training, student services, and more, we are transforming education in Indianapolis' urban neighborhoods, one student at a time,” said Marcus Robinson, Chancellor & CEO.
“We're excited about the name change and being more directly associated with the Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, and the other Tindley schools in the community. It allows us to leverage our brand recognition with prospective families and puts us in a better position to grow,” Robinson added.
