Colts Still Facing BlackoutPosted: Updated:
The possibility of a local television blackout still remains for this weekend's Indianapolis Colts playoff game. A spokesman for the team tells Inside INdiana Business 4,500 tickets are available for Saturday's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. National Football League broadcast rules dictate that games cannot air in the home team's market if a sellout is not achieved.
Unless extended, the blackout deadline is 72 hours prior to kickoff. The game is scheduled to start at 4:35pm Saturday.
Multiple media reports also indicate The Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals are also in jeopardy of not selling out in advance of game day.
