The Muncie-based Alliance for Strategic Growth Inc. has named Mellisa Leaming chief operating officer. She has served as the organization's director of operations since 2006.

Muncie, Ind. — President/CEO Mike Row today introduced Mellisa Leaming as the Chief Operating Officer for Alliance for Strategic Growth, Inc. (ASG, Inc.), effective January 3, 2014.
Leaming has over 20 years of experience in the field of workforce development and has served as the Director of Operations for ASG, Inc. since 2006. Leaming holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Management specializing in Human Resources from Ball State University.
Leaming has provided oversight of the WorkOne system throughout Economic Growth Region 6 (Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush, Wayne and Union counties). Currently,
Leaming has been involved in the development and implementation of Regional Advanced Manufacturing Programs (RAMP) and the Work Ready Communities that are beginning in multiple
counties.
